The new school term has entered into its 4th weeks of 2013, he was excited and looking forward to it every day. We are glad that he has adapted well to the new school routine, getting to bed at 10am and waking up at 6.05am. The first 3 days of the school bus service was erratic but has since stabilized to arrive almost similar time daily from the following week, thankful for the great recovery!
It has been great joy for me to be able to see him off to the school bus every morning and then getting ready to send his sister to school before I proceed to work.
Almost everyday, we have to learn along side with him what he has been taught in school and also structure him to complete his homework. Making him practise and understand, try, try, try are just so normal for him, it is all about practise make improvement for all of us working with him. He proves to us everyday that he doesn’t have a disability…only different abilities! He is like any other seven-year-old plus kids but accomplishes things in his own special way.
The first weekend on Sunday, he woke up at 6am and was talking and playing by himself on bed until we were awaken by his noise. Since it was early, I proposed to him and my wife to go for a walk in the garden and out we go, not to nearby garden but to Botanic Garden, it was the first time he visited the place and we managed to take some photos to capture the blissfulness. Sometime, we have to go with the flow to maximize our happiness. After the walk we went to nearby Macdonald for morning breakfast.
Life is a series of concurring many mountain peaks, it will manifest in various form of difficulties and challenges, but the true happiness and growth occurs during each process of climbing. This is what he has taught me while journeying with him in the past years
We also enjoyed going to Woodland water front when ever we can during weekend to enjoy the cool sea breeze and look at the people and appreciate wonders of nature in the sky.
Writing journal is a good practise not only to improve his writing but also elevate his sentence formation and hopeful that one day, he will write his thoughts out more naturally and spontaneously. Sharing 2 of his journal:- One on "My Class" and

Today is also his mum's birthday, another occasion to make the moment count with a simple cake cutting celebration at home. Look forward to many more years of simple joy of togetherness as a family.
Chinese New Year is around the corner just 2 weeks away, will be having family reunion next week then cross over to KL in-law place the following week for the count down in Malaysia over the long weekend holidays.
